Lineup of Race Events
TODAY:
* 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Concours d’Promenade for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach; race cars and drivers will compete for $1,900 in the following categories: the best-slung car, cleanest and for teams that look the sharpest and exhibit the best safety equipment; Miss Toyota Grand Prix and her court will meet with spectators; on the Promenade between Ocean Boulevard and 3rd Street.
* 4 to 8 p.m., Indy Car Garage Show / Expo Preview, Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, 300 W. Ocean Blvd.
FRIDAY:
* 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., practice and qualifying for American Racing Series, Chevron GTO /GTU Challenge, CART Indy cars, Toyota Atlantic Championship and Toyota Pro / Celebrity races.
SATURDAY:
* 8:15 a.m to 4 p.m., final practice and qualifying for American Racing Series, Chevron GTO / GTU Challenge, CART Indy cars and Toyota Atlantic Championship races.
* 1 to 1:45 p.m., Toyota Pro / Celebrity race.
* 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., Chevron GTO / GTU Challenge race.
SUNDAY:
* 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., American Racing Series race.
* 11 to 11:30 a.m., One Lap of America finish.
* 12:30 p.m., CART driver instructions.
* 1 to 3 p.m., Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
* 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Toyota Atlantic Championship.
