L.A.’s Powerful ‘Little Kings’
In response to “Supervisors: Our Powerful ‘Little Kings’ ” (Opinion, April 8):
No elected official or district should be based on race, sex, color or ethnic makeup! The only criterion is that officials be American! What we need is a smaller county.
More supervisors or senators, etc., mean more salaries, more wrangling and nothing getting accomplished. So break Los Angeles County into two counties--that is the answer.
