Computers: Digital Equipment Corp. posted substantially lower third-quarter earnings of $24.9 million, largely due to a $150-million restructuring charge. The Maynard, Mass., company had a $256.4-million profit in the same period a year ago. Revenue rose 4% to $3.3 billion. Unisys Corp. reported a loss of $3.2 million for its first quarter, compared to a loss of $78.7 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 5% to $2.3 billion. The Blue Bell, Pa., company credited progress in its restructuring program.
