From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Angry black youths attacked police and municipal buildings in a South African township to protest the deaths of four black teen-agers shot by police. Police fired tear gas at rampaging youths who threw stones and set fire to buildings in Rammulotsi in Orange Free State province, witnesses said. The African National Congress said it is outraged by the police shootings but gave no indication that it would call off talks with President Frederik W. de Klerk in protest.
