World IN BRIEF : COLOMBIA : Gunmen Raid Ranch at Hub of Drug War

Gunmen raided a ranch near Colombia’s cocaine center of Medellin in an attack apparently linked to a drug war sweeping the city, police said. Up to 10 men stormed the ranch in Envigado, near Medellin, set fire to 15 vintage cars worth more than $400,000, dynamited the swimming pool and blew up part of the house before escaping, police said. Envigado is thought to be the headquarters of the Medellin cocaine cartel.
