Houses in San Jacinto

Four two- to four-bedroom single-family plans are offered at Rosaire, a 160-unit development by Barratt San Diego opening today in San Jacinto.

The first release of 12 houses in the master-planned Rancho San Jacinto community in the Riverside County city sold during the preview sales period; 14 houses are offered today, with 1,350 to 2,220 square feet, priced from $119,000 to $159,000. Move-ins are scheduled for June.

Exteriors feature California Spanish architecture, with tile roofs, white mullion windows, rear-yard fencing and front-yard landscaping with sprinklers. Other features include ceramic tile entries, vaulted ceilings, ceramic tile counters, oak cabinets and central air conditioning.

Four furnished models are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 1484 Corte Rosaire, near San Jacinto Avenue and Evans Street, reached from the Main Street exit of the Ramona (79) Expressway.

Laguna Niguel Homes

Mediterranean-style architecture and three large floor plans are featured in Andorra, a 54-unit single-family house development that opens today in the coastal hills of Laguna Niguel.

The J. P. Rhoades Development project opens its first phase of 11 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses with prices from $400,000 to $455,000. The two-story houses are offered in three floor plans, with 2,623-3,050 square feet and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths. The architect is Hales-Langston, Orange.

First-phase move-ins are scheduled to begin in July. The monthly association fee of $74 pays for common-area maintenance, including a private entry gate.

Three model homes decorated by Carole Eichen Interiors are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 64 Westgate, reached from the northbound Pacific Coast Highway exit of the San Diego (5) Freeway in Dana Point. Go north to the Street of the Golden Lantern, right on Golden Lantern and right again on Bear Brand to Westgate.

Next to Country Club

Marbrissa, a 160-unit development of three-, four- and five-bedroom two-story houses, opens today on a 50-acre site next to the Antelope Valley Country Club in Palmdale.

The houses by D & J Development Co. feature Spanish Colonial treatments by Danielian & Associates, an Orange County architectural firm. Nine elevations are offered, in three floor plans, all with three-car attached garages, on lots averaging 9,000 square feet.

The 15 houses released in the first phase range in size from 2,323 to 2,993 square feet and are priced from $239,950 to $289,950. Move-ins are scheduled to begin in October.

Three models decorated by Pacific Coast Design are open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. weekends, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 305 Makin Ave., reached from the eastbound Avenue P exit of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

Club as Amenity

A private swim and tennis club is an amenity of Club Vista, a 106-unit single-family development by D.T. Smith Inc. Homes opening today in Dove Canyon in southern Orange County.

Eleven three- and four-bedroom houses are offered in the initial phase, ranging from 2,500 to 3,200 square feet, priced from $329,900 to $379,900. Features include 2 1/2 to 4 bathrooms and a den in some plans. October move-ins are planned for the first-phase homes.

Dove Canyon includes a private Jack Nicklaus-designed golf and country club and is next to the Coto de Caza and Trabuco Canyon communities. The monthly association dues of $116 include use of the swimming and racquet club, but not the golf club.
