Crum & Forster to Withdraw From Some Lines: Basking Ridge, N.J.-based Crum & Forster Inc. announced that it is withdrawing from the standard personal lines market to concentrate on its traditional strengths of commercial insurance, specialty coverages and re-insurance. In addition, the company said it has reached an agreement in principle with the Metropolitan Property & Casualty Insurance Co. to assist most CFPI agents with continuing coverage for their homeowners, fire and related property insurance lines.
