Use of ‘New Kids’ Trademark Blocked: A federal judge today has barred three businesses from using the trademarks of New Kids on the Block, said Phillip Heller, a lawyer for the pop group. Heller said the group filed a lawsuit against several 900-number telephone services that ran unauthorized contests and promotions based on the group’s name.
