Automated System Gives Information to Public

The county’s first computerized information system, a device resembling an automated teller machine, has been unveiled by Superior Court officials.

The machine installed in akiosk at the front entrance of the Pasadena courthouse is designed to give people basic directions and information ranging from how to contact the district attorney’s office to where out-of-town jurors can go for lunch in the area.

“There’s information about the Superior Court and the services in the (Pasadena courts) building, as well as listings of all county departments, and what forms you need to file for probate,” said Bretta Beveridge, a manager with the
