Resdel Industries on Tuesday reported a restated operating loss of $749,000 for the three months ended Sept. 30, 1989. It had lost $889,000 a year earlier.
Bruce Rossiter, chairman and chief executive of the telecommunications company, said the earnings were restated to reflect the discontinuation of two of the company’s subsidiaries. The company reported sales of $608,000; sales were $526,000 a year ago.
Rossiter said the company expects to report “significant losses” in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1989. He said the company posted a $1.3-million gain related to a tax provision reversal.
