Trading Suspension: EECO Inc., a financially troubled computer components maker, said Tuesday that it has asked the American Stock Exchange to suspend trading of its stock until uncertainty about its financial condition is resolved.

Trading of EECO stock was halted on Monday and Tuesday. An exchange spokeswoman said Tuesday that no suspension had been granted yet. EECO is attempting to avert a bankruptcy filing by selling off some or all of its assets.
