SIMI VALLEY : Damage in Garage Fire Set at $60,000
A garage fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damage in Simi Valley, authorities said.
The fire started in the garage at 2772 Harrington Road at 7:10 p.m. Saturday and was under control at 7:39, said Vicki Crabtree, a Ventura County Fire Department dispatcher.
Cause of the fire is being investigated, Crabtree said. Damage was estimated at $30,000 to the structure and $30,000 to its contents, including a Volkswagen van and a tractor, she said.
No injuries were reported.
