Pepsico Inc.: The Purchase, N.Y., beverage firm said first-quarter earnings rose 10% to $181.9 million, as revenue jumped 24% to $3.7 billion. The company said gains were fueled by strong volume growth in every business as well as by significant margin improvements in domestic soft drinks and worldwide restaurants.
