Countywide : Flynn to Attend Water Symposium
Ventura County Supervisor John K. Flynn will represent the county Friday at a symposium on the balance of water use between wet Northern California and the dry Southland.
Flynn, who serves on several state and regional water planning boards, will be on a panel that will discuss the four-year drought, water quality and affordability and the distribution of water statewide.
The conference at the Clarion Hotel in Ontario is sponsored by the Southern California WaterCommittee, of which Flynn is chairman.
The group was formed to educate Southern Californians about state water needs and resources, Flynn said.
