Money Supply Mixed: The narrowest measure of the nation’s money supply fell to a seasonally adjusted $805.6 billion from a revised $810.4 billion in the week ended April 23, the Federal Reserve Board reported. A narrower measure, M2, rose $1.2 billion to a seasonally adjusted $3,278.6 billion from a revised $3,277.4 billion the previous week. M1 includes cash in circulation, deposits in checking accounts and non-bank travelers checks. M2 is M1 plus accounts like savings deposits and money market mutual funds.
