The family of a 19-year-old University of Florida baseball player who died March 17 from complications after shoulder surgery last March has hired an attorney to investigate the matter.
Steve Georgiadis was kept alive on life support systems in intensive care for two days after surgery to tighten ligaments in his right shoulder. An autopsy has been performed and pathology experts have been consulted, but nobody has been able to explain his death.
