Czechs to Skip Visas for Americans, Canadians

PRAGUE, Czechoslovakia —
American and Canadian citizens no longer need to obtain Czech visas for visits of 30 days or less, the official news agency announced Friday.
Relations between Czechoslovakia and Western countries have improved significantly since the country’s democratic revolution last year, and visa requirements were earlier dropped for Austrian and Italian citizens.
