Yoko Ono says her son, Sean, helped her pull through after the murder of her husband, John Lennon.

“Some days, I felt life wasn’t worth it, but it was important that I stay around for Sean, or he would have lost two parents,” Ono said in an interview in Sunday’s Daily News Magazine.

Sean, now 14, was 5 when his ex-Beatle father was slain. He attends school in Switzerland and hopes for a music career.

Ono said she prefers he choose another path but won’t stand in his way.

“I love him very much, wish John was here to see him grow,” she said. “Maybe he’s watching.”

Lennon was shot to death in 1980. His killer, Mark Chapman, is serving a life sentence.
