Philip A. Taylor has been appointed director of manufacturing for Cimco Inc., and Joseph E. Burns has been named director of engineering. Both fill management jobs that had been vacant. Taylor will be responsible for manufacturing operations in Costa Mesa and Corona. Taylor is a former general manager and executive vice president of Premier Products Inc., a Los Angeles manufacturer of pool and spa pumps and controls. Before that, he was was director of product development and manufacturing for Baxter Travenol Laboratories Inc. Burns was a management consultant before he joined Cimco.
