Ousting Seidman

L. William Seidman, “the outspoken, independent bank regulator,” is the only person in the entire Bush Administration who is exposing the truth in regards to the actual cost of the savings and loan cleanup. If the Republicans and George Bush would attempt to state the costs of the S&L; debacle and take care of today’s problems instead of worrying about the ’92 reelection campaign, Bush’s credibility and chances for reelection would flourish.

During Watergate when Richard Nixon said that he had done nothing wrong, he was correct. It’s what he did not do that was wrong. Will Bush make the same mistake? Only my 1040 will know for sure.
