Leonard Friedlander, 48, producer of the Emmy-award winning TV series “Santa Barbara,” whose career began with the old “Dick Cavett Show.” He worked in television for 20 years, most recently as head of production for Chris Bearde Entertainment. His other production credits include “TV’s Bloopers and Practical Jokes” and “The Explorers.” He also was producer/director for such specials as “Helen Gurley Brown’s View From Cosmo” and “A Conversation With . . . Starring Gloria Steinem.” In Marina del Rey on Tuesday of a heart attack.
