Micom Enters Computer Venture With AT

Micom Communications Corp. of Simi Valley, which makes products that allow computers to “talk” to each other, said it entered a joint venture with AT&T; to provide computer hardware and software that would allow standard personal computers to receive voice and data transmissions over telephone lines.

The new product will be manufactured by Micom in Puerto Rico and will be sold by AT&T.;

Micom is a subsidiary of Black Box Inc. of Simi Valley.
