Fisher Checks In at Rehab Center: Eddie Fisher is in the midst of an extended stay at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., the New York Daily News says. Fisher, 61, entered the drug and alcohol treatment facility three weeks ago and has agreed to stay two weeks beyond the usual monthlong stay. The News said that the recent health problems of Elizabeth Taylor, Fisher’s second wife, had greatly distressed the singer, whose other ex-wives include Debbie Reynolds, Connie Stevens and Terry Richard.
