California Amplifier Announces Turnaround

California Amplifier Inc., a Camarillo maker of microwave communications products, said its net income for its fiscal year that ended Feb. 28 was $226,000, marking a turnaround from the previous year when the company lost $649,000. The company’s sales rose 20% for the year to $10.9 million from $9.1 million.

California Amplifier’s fourth-quarter net income was $43,000, compared to a net loss of $404,000 a year earlier, and its sales rose 4% to $2.5 million from $2.4 million.
