Burke Goes On: Chris Burke, star of ABC’s “Life Goes On,” is a role model for other people with Down’s syndrome but says he has his own role model. “I idolize Jimmy Stewart,” Burke, 24, said in Toronto at the Canadian Down’s Syndrome Society’s annual conference. “He’s like me. He never studied acting--he just wanted to be an actor. I feel like a role model for everybody. I think it’s really great that all of us can have our dreams and hopes.” Burke was asked what his favorite television shows are. He responded: “You mean aside from ‘Life Goes On?’ ”
