Tom Scott has been appointed vice president of sales for Toshiba America’s computer systems division in Irvine. Scott was previously vice president of sales at AST Research Inc. He also held various other executive positions with AST. Before joining AST, he held executive sales positions with Abaton Inc., Tandem Computers Inc. and Persyst Corp. Scott also spent 10 years with International Business Machines Corp.
