Mike Rozier, Houston Oiler running back, was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, and free agent Brent Flowers was charged with reckless conduct for firing the gun from a car, police said in Dickinson, Tex.

Oiler fullback Alonzo Highsmith was questioned and released without charges. The three players were in Highsmith’s car, which was being driven by Flowers when it was stopped by Galveston County deputies and a policeman.
