Wyle Laboratories: The El Segundo marketer of high-technology electronic components and computer systems said first-quarter net income nearly tripled to $2.9 million, while sales rose 6% to a record $108.7 million. The firm said the gains were led by a strong performance in its Electronics Marketing Group, whose sales increased 10% and income more than doubled.
