Alumnus Endows Museum

PHILADELPHIA —
The University of Pennsylvania’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology has received a $1.6-million pledge from an alumnus to endow the museum’s directorship, the university announced Wednesday. The pledge was made by archeologist Charles Williams II and his family, who have contributed $2.9 million for museum endeavors since 1987.
