‘Ninja Turtles’ Hijacked: The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, intrepid heroes of the New York sewers, fell victim this week to South African highway thieves. A spokeswoman for a private South African television station said hijackers seized a truck delivering the latest batch of tapes of the popular children’s animated series from Johannesburg’s Jan Smuts airport. Repeats will be screened until replacement tapes arrive from New York.
