SEC Settles Insider-Trading Suit: Joseph Behar, former chairman of San Francisco-based Modulaire Industries, and Adrienne Wailes, wife of Modulaire President David Wailes, settled a civil suit in which the SEC accused them of leaking confidential information regarding the purchase of Modulaire by Waste Management Inc. The tipsters and nine people who received the information agreed to disgorge $330,000 in profits and other civil penalties.
