Northrop Faces Bias Suit: Northrop Corp. was sued by a black former electronics assembler who says she was treated unfairly and eventually forced to leave her job because of racial discrimination. Mildred M. David said in the U.S. District Court filing in Los Angeles that a supervisor gave white employees preferential treatment and threatened to fire her if she did not follow his instructions. The suit seeks lost earnings, reinstatement, damage of more than $300,000 and punitive damage of more than $1 million. (Filed May 31, 1990, Case No. 90-2793)
