Lawsuit Filed Over Traffic Pole: Mary Elizabeth Henderson of Granada Hills sued three companies and the County of Los Angeles, alleging that she was severely injured when the car in which she was riding struck a traffic pole in June, 1989. The Los Angeles Superior Court suit, which seeks unstated damages, maintains that the pole was not designed to minimize injuries in collisions. The defendants include Pomco Inc., Amerion Corp. and Pacific Union Metal Division as well as the county. (Filed May 29, 1990. Case No. BC000270)
