Francis P. Pandolfi, president and chief executive of Times Mirror Magazines, has assumed the additional post of chairman of Sporting News Publishing Co., publishers of the Sporting News, the Sporting Goods Dealer and an extensive list of annual sports magazines and statistical books. Thomas G. Osenton, president and chief executive of Sporting News Publishing Co., now reports to Pandolfi. The company remains an independent operating unit of Times Mirror Co., which also owns The Times.
