Cambrian Systems Buys Adelphi Associates

Cambrian Systems Inc., a Westlake Village maker of computer disk drive test equipment, said it acquired Adelphi Associates Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Adelphi, based in Fremont, Calif., also makes test equipment for the computer data storage market and had 1989 sales of nearly $5 million. Cambrian’s sales totaled nearly $10 million last year.
