Advertising Deal: Laguna Hills-based Advantage Life Products Inc., a marketer of CigArrest chewing gum, tablets and vitamins--all designed to help smokers kick the habit--has signed a deal that it hopes will raise $5 million to advertise new kick-the-habit products.

Under the arrangement, International Daleco Technologies Corp. will put together an off-balance-sheet marketing investment fund for Advantage. The company did not divulge the nature of the products it plans to introduce.

“The fund will allow marketing support of these products at a far higher level than previously possible with no shareholder dilution,” said Advantage President Charles G. Sleichter in a statement Wednesday.
