1 Million Greeks Strike

ATHENS —
Trains stopped, schools closed and flights were disrupted in Greece on Wednesday as more than a million workers joined a 24-hour nationwide strike to protest economic austerity measures.
It was the third nationwide protest since the conservative government, which came to power in April, raised taxes and the cost of public services by 10% to 30%.
