A new hands-on garden planning kit called Gardener’s Guide should make planning a vegetable garden easier.

It uses a half-inch scale layout planning grid and 1,800 reuseable vegetable symbols representing 50 vegetables. It allows you to plan, design and correctly space a vegetable garden. The large planning grid is suitable to lay out gardens up to 32-by-68 feet.

Included is a schedule board to help organize your garden on a week-by-week basis.

Planning information includes space, sun, water and nutrient requirements for 50 popular vegetables. Other areas covered include garden orientation, companion planting and harvest information.
