Saugus Speedway Program Rained Out

Share

Rain forced the cancellation of Saturday night’s racing program at Saugus Speedway. The Street, Hobby and Mini Stock races were called off because of a wet track.

The rain-out marks the first such cancellation of the 1990 season.

Racing will resume next week with the arrival of the NASCAR Winston West tour. A 200-lap race, highlighted by the appearance of 1989 Rookie of the Year Bill Sedgwick of Van Nuys, will top a bill that also includes Sportsman Division racing.
