Mike Pigg of Arcata, Calif., won the San Jose edition of the Bud Light U.S. Triathlon Series in 1 hour 57 minutes 50 seconds. Pigg, defending national champion, also won three weeks ago in Phoenix.

Andrew Carlson of Irvine (1:59:14) was second. Carol Montgomery of Vancouver, Canada, won the women’s division in 2:07:15.
