Taj Mahal Falls Below $1-Million-a-Day Goal

NEW YORK — The Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City last week failed for the first time to make a projected $1 million a day--revenues vital to the restructuring of Donald Trump’s real estate empire, a published report said today.
Trump’s $1-billion Taj took in $6.6 million last week, or $943,000 a day--well below what analysts predicted during the resort’s peak season, the Daily News reported.
