WORLD IN BRIEF : FRANCE : 4 Youths Seized in Graves Desecration
Police arrested four youths in what they said was a major breakthrough in a monthlong investigation into the desecration of a Jewish cemetery in the southern French town of Carpentras. On May 10, 34 tombstones were vandalized in an incident that shocked France. In Jerusalem, five Palestinians were detained for questioning in the weekend desecration of 80 graves in Mount of Olives cemetery.
