Mandela Mania: One his first visit to the United States, Nelson Mandela will have his first sit-down American TV interview. Mandela faces off with Ted Koppel on June 21 for “The Koppel Report: A Town Meeting With Nelson Mandela” at 10 p.m. on ABC. The discussion continues later that night on “Nightline” at 11:30 p.m. CNN will also be on Mandela’s trail. The network plans extensive coverage of his visit, beginning with his speech on June 21 in New York and including his L.A. stop on June 29.
