Firms Introduce Wristwatch Pager: Personal communications moved one step closer to a Dick Tracy-style two-way wrist radio as San Francisco-based AT&E; Corp. and Seiko of Japan unveiled the world’s first paging system that uses a wristwatch as a receiver. AT&T; said the new paging system allows customers to receive letter and numerical messages on their wrist; it will begin marketing in Portland, Ore., and eventually to 52 major U.S. cities within three years.
