James Coburn, Danny Aiello, Sandra Bernhard and Richard E. Grant join the cast of Silver Pictures/Flying Heart Films’ “Hudson Hawk,” which beings filming July 9 in Rome, Budapest, London, New York and Los Angeles. Previously announced Bruce Willis stars as a man sprung from jail to break into art galleries in Europe to retrieve certain paintings. Michael Lehmann directs the Steven DeSouza-Dan Waters screenplay for producer Joel Silver. Tri-Star distributes.

Pierce Brosnan stars as a bomb-squad demolition expert who uncovers a terrorist organization in New Line Cinema’s mystery-thriller, “Live Wire.” John Nicollela, who has directed episodes of “Miami Vice” and “Crime Story,” makes his feature debut. Bart Baker wrote the script. Filming begins in September.

Sidney Lumet has signed with Mount Prods. to direct “Prizzi’s Family,” based on Richard Condon’s follow-up to his novel “Prizzi’s Honor.” The script has been written by William Richert. Thom Mount produces.

Glenn Plummer plays Sheryl Lee Ralph’s eldest son in “Randall & Juliet,” Hollywood Pictures’ Americanization of Coline Serreau’s French comedy “Mama, There’s a Man in Your Bed.” Richard Dreyfuss stars as an executive who enlists the aid of Ralph, a cleaning woman, in his fight to overcome inner-office sabotage. Serreau wrote and will direct this remake for producer Laurence Marks. Production begins July 9.

Alexandra Paul will star in “Millions,” an independent production that will shoot in Mexico, Toronto, Rome, Milan, the French Riviera and Barbados for Penta Pictures, a U.S.-based production/distribution subsidiary of Pentafilm Italy. Carlo Van Zina directs the drama, written by Enrico Van Zina, about a fight over a family business that breaks out when the father goes into a coma following a plane crash.

Comic Chris Rock stars in New Line’s “Hangin’ With the Homeboys,” a comedy with a “Diner”-like flavor, which gets underway this week in the South Bronx. Joe Vasquez wrote and will direct for producer Richard Brick.
