World IN BRIEF : IRAN : Oil Output Capacity Due to Grow by 25%

Oil Minister Gholamreza Aghazadeh said Iran’s oil production capacity will rise more than 25% to 4.5 million barrels a day in two years. He said Iran is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to repair damage to the industry from the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq War. Oil brings in 90% of Iran’s foreign currency revenues.
