World IN BRIEF : COLOMBIA : 12 Killed in Drug Hub; Suspect Seized

Gunmen killed 12 more people in Colombia’s violence-wracked drug capital of Medellin, and police said they captured another suspected drug trafficker wanted in the United States. The trafficking suspect, Salomon Sheuter Benitez, was captured in the coastal city of Barranquilla, a police communique said. The communique said that Sheuter, 49, is wanted in Pittsburgh on charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine.
