Bankers Trust Cuts Finance Staff: The New York-based banking firm said it expects to save more than $10 million next year by cutting 75 of its more than 700 corporate finance employees. The move is the latest sign of how brokerages and banking firms are cutting back on investment bankers and other personnel that handled the mergers and buyouts of the 1980s.
