Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim-based manufacturer of information systems and robotic and artificial intelligence systems posted a 9% gain in net income for fiscal 1990, to $1.2 million from $1.1 million for fiscal 1989. Revenue for the year ended March 31 totaled $55.3 million, up slightly from the $54.8 million reported a year ago.

Net income for the fourth quarter more than tripled, to a record $994,000 from $291,000 for the comparable period last year. Revenue rose 10%, to $17.1 million from $15.5 million.

Joel Slutzky, chairman and chief executive, said the company saw strong growth on both the commercial and government sides of the business.
