OXFORD, Miss. —
Don Kessinger, a major league all-star and a two-sport All-Southeastern Conference performer at the University of Mississippi, has been named head baseball coach at his alma mater.
Kessinger succeeds Jake Gibbs, another former major leaguer and Rebel standout, who resigned last month.
